- Represented Eckler’s Enterprises, Inc. (“Eckler’s” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Century Park Capital Partners, in its sale to Baird Capital.
- Eckler’s is a multi-title, multi-channel marketer of classic and enthusiast auto aftermarket parts. The Company sells parts to the restoration, accessory, and performance segments for each of its classic car models, which are individually marketed under separate catalog titles and websites and are managed under a centralized infrastructure.
Key Observations
- Attracted to Eckler’s #1 leadership position in the “Enthusiast” Corvette, Classic Chevy, and other valuable auto lines markets and the Company’s strong cash flows.
- Having successfully integrated seven acquisitions under recent ownership, Baird viewed the Company as an attractive acquisition platform in a fragmented, Mom & Pop industry. They had already advanced their discussions with an 8th potential add-on to the platform.
