Omaha, NE – Elliott Equipment Company (“Elliott”) has been acquired by Stellar Industries (“Stellar”). Hennepin served as Elliott’s exclusive financial advisor and Koley Jessen acted as legal counsel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Elliott is a leading manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial work platforms, cranes, and digger derricks.  Founded in 1948, it serves customers in various industry segments including electric utility, sign and lighting, municipal services, construction, and telecom.  Elliott is known for offering multi-functional machines engineered for performance, safety, and durability.

Stellar is a 100% employee-owned manufacturer of mechanic trucks, service trucks, fuel and lube trucks, service cranes, trailers, and related accessories.  It also serves the waste and recycling markets with its hook lift, roll-off, and container trucks.  Since its founding in 1990 in Garner, Iowa, Stellar has expanded to multiple U.S. locations.

Elliott will continue to operate as a distinct business unit, thereby preserving its storied brand, experienced employees, leadership team, facilities, and dealer relationships.  Jim Glazer, President of Elliott Equipment Company, will continue to lead the organization.

The acquisition of Elliott expands Stellar’s lifting and work-at-height product lines, widens its presence across vocational markets, and creates new opportunities for distributors, customers, and employee-owners.
